Building the world I want!

Another You

“Love is in the memories people leave behind when they’re missed after they’re gone.” – Kia

Another You

Life wouldn’t preclude if you went missing, but it’d be dire staid to not flicker of how I feel when you’re gone and I’d still be lacking!

A respite not spite, glaze of love and care,

memories fray and flay, and I’d yet be succumbed to the void,

Tell a tale, latest goss or on repeat deets of the world that I don’t belong to,

Where would I find another you ? Who’d pretend not care of my drowning canoe,

You chimed in like my favourite cheese cake, stirring endless cackles and coffees,

I wouldn’t simper about the fraught world you lived in, bearing all and yet be smiling and skimming,

I stood worried of your sickness, always be praying in heart that you’d live longer to watch me grow into the person I was becoming,

I wish you bestrode in sanctity, not in despair, my guilty tread harder for not be with you in your too soon of AWOLS,

Could you forgive me for this is my prodigal apology for all the ducking and dodging,

I wouldn’t find another you, cause I’d be more cautious and not find another you.
