Women and Freedom

What does freedom mean to you?

How any woman reacts to freedom – a smile that’s gradually been fraying for generations. We are the freedom fighters when it comes to our own freedom. It’s like our territories seem secure without any safety. We women, still feel unsafe, insecure and neglected every now and then, everywhere around the world, around the clock.

To me freedom is to do whatever I wish to do, without much chaperoning. On the contrary, I’m a bit disciplined about my work and ethics so I do not ever take my freedom of choice for granted. I like my financial freedom as well as my personal freedom and I do hold myself accountable above all for the mistakes that may occur in haste by me.

And I believe that women are capable of the responsibility of owning their freedom. We should have freedom of speech, freedom of choice, financial freedom and freedom to say “No” in the matter.

“Freedom is the Power that women seek even in her nightmares.” – Kia

Well, “No” isn’t just a word, it’s a sentence, it’s a denial to every and any consent, it matters just like our right to privacy. Let women be free of any obligation to serve men, slavery may seem extinct but women still are enslaved by the societal norms. So, Free us up !!
