What does it mean to be a good person?
Being good is easier than being bad… a good person would never intend to hurt/harm/insult/disrespect anyone, be it the enemy, he or she shall still stand on the humble ground. In my eyes, a good person is someone who understands pain and is there for you even when their canoe is sinking as he’d say, “Let’s sink together and see the sunrise after the storm.”

People have forgotten the value of morals, being humble is being human, caring for the weak, women and children shall be the priorities for all. Denigrating the poor makes you poor on the inside, helping the poor makes you rich, saving someone’s virtue saves your conscience and doing good without any expectations makes you stronger.
Today you’re afloat of all the pain, but tomorrow may come different. We mustn’t disrespect in order to gain attention. People who aren’t worthy of respect, disrespects for their own gain and that way they imbalance the power of cosmos which resides in you for the better part of your conscience. We must learn to empathies others pain, be there for them even when things aren’t in your favour, and this will fix you from inside without much doing.

We must also learn to save our dignity, and adhere our standards with our integrity. This way you’re there for others and also shielding yourself of the pain anyone can cause you. In today’s world, it’s important to shield yourself, protect your emotions, protect your dignity and above all protect your mental health.
Being good isn’t just a character you’re playing, you’re good on the inside so it’s easier to play the part which suits your conscience. Stick to your morals, not just to please yourself or show it off in front of others. Stick to them because they will stand for you and save you on your worst of days while they’re your humble abode on good days and pillars of strength on the bad days.
Just be you, just be good.. slow down and watch around. Stand with others when they’re alone and stay alone when you need yourself more…
