My Conquest

If not love what’d be my quest, if not lonely what’d be my conquest… 

If winning came easy, there’d be no victory,

lest defeat be easy, for some winning tomorrows, 

Rummaged through impossibles, in quest of possibles, she stood dejected of life,

Danced with fire, fighting with sire,

Blindfolded life, unveiling the odds,

Dreamt the skies, her wings in flames,

Stirred her keens, freeing her sighs,

Scoring her highs, massacred the whys, 

A classic hiccup of marauding the nigh,

Befitting with crowd, savoured like a lovelorn,

Spurned the fibs, outbraving the myths,

Raising the hell, sailed thru pyres, 

Shushing her crazes, she triumphed her reign.
